OUR FOUNDER
Dr. Ogo Ogoegbunam
The Seedpod Foundation was founded by Dr. Ogo Ogoegbunam, a leader and advocate for early childhood development with a passion for strengthening the systems that help children and families thrive.
Inspired by the belief that lasting change begins in the earliest years of life, Dr. Ogo envisioned a foundation dedicated to strengthening the educational, health, and community systems that shape every child's future.
As the founder of Seedpod Academy, a growing network of early learning centers, she witnessed firsthand both the transformative impact of high-quality early childhood education and the broader systemic challenges facing children, families, educators, and communities. These experiences reinforced her belief that meaningful, lasting change requires strong partnerships, effective public policy, well-supported educators, and healthy environments where children can thrive.
Drawing on her experience in healthcare, public service, leadership, and community engagement, Dr. Ogo established the Seedpod Foundation to partner with governments, educators, healthcare leaders, researchers, and community organizations to advance sustainable, evidence-informed solutions for young children.
Today, the Foundation reflects her enduring commitment to collaboration, innovation, equity, and long-term impact, helping build stronger foundations so every child has the opportunity to flourish.
